About Us

I started out with an OLD compaq© presario a friend
gave me. The thing was hammered!!
It wouldn't boot at all. I ended up D-loading an "XP™"
recovery boot disk, and after many, many hours of
searching and gathering all the info I could stomach
(believe me, there's ALOT!!), I finally managed to get it
to boot up.
YAY!!!!

I used it for actually quite a while before I started
"collecting" them. It just kinda took off from there, and
I've been buildin' em and crashin' em since! So I guess
that's how I came to create this site. I keep seeing ?'s
on posts that seem like the people asking, might need
some "layman's terms" instruction. Hopefully some of
my trials and errors will benefit you, and as I said
before, I won't ask you for a dime(unless your fix
involves substantial communication/time), but if my
site/info are helpful to you, and you can swing it, there
are donation buttons around the site. This will help me
to continue to help you and others like us, who just
don't have 2-300 dollars to pay someone for "P.C.
Repair"!! (and maybe feel like a "pat on the back" so to
speak)!!
Either way, I'll do this as long as I can (or until it's
usefulness has ended)

Well, that's pretty much my story, I know, I know
but we had to get the intro done, didn't we?? Browse
